Company loses US$100 000 to robbers

A private company located along Seke Road in Harare lost over US$100 000 to armed robbers last week, police have said.

In a statement, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said no arrests have been made so far.

“The ZRP is investigating a case of unlawful entry into premises and theft which occurred at a company along Seke Road in Harare on September 6, 2022.

“Unknown suspects broke into the company offices and stole US$99 971, ZAR 15 080 and $20 080 cash which was in a Chubb safe.”
