Company loses US$120k to robbers

Five robbers last week stole over US$120 000 from a Harare company after attacking the security guard.

The money was in one of the offices on the premises in Workington.

National police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.

“Police in Harare are investigating a case of robbery that occurred on February 27, 2025, at a company in Workington,” he said.

“Five unknown suspects attacked a security guard who was on duty and gained entry into the offices where they stole US$120 400. Anyone with information can report at the nearest police station.”
