Sunday News Reporter

In a shocking turn of events, a whistleblower employed- Greater Kumbula- at the prestigious Rainbow Towers in Harare has been arrested after allegedly uncovering sensitive information regarding a series of mysterious deaths that occurred at the hotel in recent years.

The revelation has left her family deeply concerned for her safety, with her husband Tapiwa Magada and their two children, Tinashe and Tatenda, fearing the worst.

The whistleblower had planned to report her findings to the police, hoping to shed light on the unexplained deaths that had plagued the renowned hotel. However, instead of receiving assistance, she found herself behind bars, leaving her family bewildered and anxious about her well-being.

Speaking exclusively to our publication, a close relative expressed profound worry: “We are extremely concerned about the safety of our beloved family member. She was only trying to do the right thing by coming forward with the information she had discovered. To see her being arrested instead of being protected is deeply distressing.”

According to the relative, the whistleblower’s husband, Tapiwa Magada, and their two children have been left in a state of constant unease. “Tapiwa is worried sick about his wife’s safety. He can’t fathom why she would be treated this way, especially when she had intended to cooperate with the authorities. The children, Tinashe and Tatenda, are also affected, with their mother’s absence weighing heavily on their young minds.”

The family is now appealing to the relevant authorities to ensure the whistleblower’s safety and to provide clarity on the nature of her arrest. They implore the authorities to investigate the allegations she had brought to light, which could potentially uncover a disturbing pattern of deaths at Rainbow Towers.

The deaths include one which took place in 2021 where a <span;>Harare businessman who disappeared during a party at the hotel was found dead in a non-functioning elevator at the hotel.

Meanwhile, questions are being raised about the reasons behind the whistleblower’s arrest. Some speculate that powerful individuals may be trying to suppress the truth, while others suspect a possible cover-up within the hotel itself. The public eagerly awaits a response from law enforcement agencies, hoping for a swift resolution that will guarantee the whistleblower’s safety and uncover the truth behind the alleged deaths.

As the investigation unfolds, the family remains steadfast in their determination to support and protect their loved one. They join the chorus of concerned citizens demanding transparency and justice in this troubling case.

The publication will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available.
