Five years after the deadline, retirement plans are far from her radar after she recently birthed two new business babies that demand her total attention.
It seems she may have to defer that dream of retirement for now.

But it’s not her looks that have stood the Kimberley-born actress in good stead – but her reliability as a brand in the entertainment, fashion and beauty industries.
Ferguson’s two new ventures exploit her strengths. She is co-owner of Ferguson Films, which she and her actor husband Shona started in 2013 and got critical acclaim for producing two instalments of the Rockville drama series.
But it’s her other business, a shift from being a beauty brand spokeswoman to a brand owner (she represented Garnier products for six years) that is making her to exploit her own worth.
Ferguson launched her own body lotion called Connie in 2013 with a few partners under a company called Koni Multinational. The lotion gained traction last year after Ferguson criss-crossed the country marketing it.
The product started off being sold in a few Shoprite stores around Gauteng but is now available in their nationwide stores, including selected Pick n Pay and Jumbo Cash and Carry stores.
