BULAWAYO residents can look forward to another cool winter day on Friday, with forecasters predicting sunny and dry conditions accompanied by mild daytime temperatures and chilly overnight lows.
According to weather forecasts from AccuWeather, temperatures are expected to reach a daytime high of about 24°C, while overnight temperatures will drop to around 10°C, maintaining the city’s typical winter weather pattern.
The forecast indicates predominantly sunny skies throughout the day, with little chance of rainfall as the dry winter season continues across much of Matabeleland.
Morning temperatures are expected to start off cold before gradually warming up towards midday. Weather forecasts show temperatures climbing from about 10°C in the early hours to around 24°C by mid-afternoon.
The dry conditions are consistent with June weather trends in Bulawayo, which is traditionally one of the driest months of the year, characterised by low humidity levels, clear skies and minimal rainfall.
Motorists travelling in the early morning hours are advised to exercise caution due to the cold conditions, while residents are encouraged to dress warmly, particularly during the morning and evening periods when temperatures are expected to be at their lowest.
The sunny weather is expected to provide favourable conditions for outdoor activities, construction projects and travel across the city and surrounding areas.
Weather experts say no significant weather systems are expected to affect Bulawayo over the next few days, with the city likely to continue experiencing stable winter conditions characterised by cool mornings, warm afternoons and clear nights.
