Cop claims she is being stalked

A police officer claims her ex-husband has been stalking her.

This came to light last week at the Harare Civil Court where Faith Gangarahwe told the court that she was also being harassed.

“He is an abusive man and still bitter that I left him, l had to move out because I couldn’t take the insults and harassments.

I left him at our matrimonial house.

“I don’t know why he keeps on coming to my new residence in Mbare which is slightly close to him.”

In response, Asaru was in disbelief as she was still his wife and they had come from the same home.

“We were in the same bed last night and ate breakfast together, l don’t know why she is giving the court false information.

“She gave me orders at home, l can’t be the man of the house anymore, l had to engage our AFM pastor to help us resolve our issues but it didn’t work.

“So, we went to our neighbour, who is a church elder, and they gave us some counselling.”

Magistrate Tamara Chibindi dismissed the application due to lack of merit.
