A SOLDIER has been hauled to court by his ex-wife, who is a cop, and is demanding US$200 in child support.
Felix Kajese offered US$40 to his ex-wife, Melody Chigumo, saying he was the one who has been paying all the fees, buying uniforms and groceries for the kids.
“I’m currently married with two other minors, Your Worship,” he said.
Melody disputed Felix’s account saying he didn’t have any other kids, or wife, which she knew of.
“He buys less than US$10 of groceries and I pay rent and the maid.
“Our kids are aged seven and 11 years, and they do CALA at school.
“They need data and clothing, and he is failing to cater for them,” she said.
Magistrate Ayanda Dhlamini ordered Felix to pay US$60 after she had seen his pay slip.
She also ordered him to pay fees directly to the school.
