Cop refuses to pay maintanance to criminal ex

A POLICE officer has refused to pay maintenance for his two year-old daughter after claiming that his estranged lover was a criminal. Endington Moyo told Bulawayo magistrate Takundwa Mtetwa that he was not ready to pay the $160 that Paidamoyo Ganadzikwa was demanding for the upkeep of their daughter.

“Your Worship, this woman is evil and I don’t trust her. I can’t pay child support to her as she is a criminal and abusive. Take a closer look at my face. She scalded me with boiling cooking oil and I opened a docket for her. She is a criminal and does not deserve my money”.

He added: “She once burnt my clothes but I forgave her”.
Moyo said Ganadzikwa came to court to embarrass him as he was supporting his daughter.

However, Ganadzikwa dismissed the policeman’s claims saying that he was the one who was abusive.
