PRIVATE hospital Corporate 24 Group last week introduced a maternity All in One plans at its Bulawayo branch in a bid to ensure that mothers get medical aid cover for pregnancy without waiting for nine months.

These plans will ensure pregnant mothers receive affordable and quality care during pregnancy. The initiative seeks to benefit expecting mothers as their maternal costs are now significantly reduced and bundled into one figure. Corporate 24 Bulawayo marketing manager Mr Nigel Masonga said the package was aimed at easing the burden that comes with escalating maternal costs. Paying for each service one by one is no longer within the reach of many these days.

“During pregnancy, expecting mothers need special care and constant check-ups that include ultrasound scans to ensure that they deliver healthy babies. As you are aware lack of proper maternity care results in many serious consequences like stillbirths and miscarriages. There is nothing that beats the joy of holding a healthy baby. In this light we have therefore, introduced affordable and convenient maternity plans meant to ease the financial burden for our valued clients,” he said.

Mr Masonga said the All in One plans come in different packages depending on the client’s choice. The plans include the Lite, Standard, Gold and top-of-the-range Platinum plan. All these plans offer comprehensive maternity services, starting from antenatal check-ups to delivery.

“All services on the maternity plans including ultrasound scans, laboratory tests are done in-house at our state-of- the-art hospital and facilities.”

The All in One plans guarantee cover for all these benefits up to normal delivery or Caesarean section by our team of doctors and experienced midwives at one cost without incurring any further unnecessary expenses.

The  Lite plan, which allows one to book a delivery room at the hospital with an external specialist or GP of their choice also includes drugs and consumables under one fee. The Standard plan gives access to  antenatal check-ups laboratory tests, ultrasound scan and normal delivery including drugs and sundries.

“Our Gold plan has added benefits including postnatal admission in a two-bedded suite and emergency C-section. Our top-of-the-range plan is the Platinum plan where a client is entitled to world class services including access to delivery in one’s own private platinum suite for delivery and post-delivery care. This plan is the ultimate cover as it covers normal delivery up to Caesarean section if needed. The experience is 5-star and comfort for the supporting spouse and family is guaranteed,” said Mr Masonga.

He said the maternity All in One plan has no waiting period as access services at their hospital is instant. “There are no co-payments or shortfalls under these plans and Corporate 24 as the sole service provider guarantees that. He added that benefits are fully accessible after making a 50 percent deposit with the balance payable in three equal instalments. The hospital’s maternity wards are world class offering state-of-the-art suites and equipment. The meals served and ambiance of Corporate 24 makes the delivery experience memorable.”
