THE family of a deceased man whose body was allegedly eaten by rats at Mansa General Hospital Mortuary in Zambia has refused to bury it until a thorough investigation is done by authorities.
There was drama at the hospital after the deceased’s face was found with cuts that indicated the corpse was eaten by rodents.
Mansa General Hospital superintendent Chisanga Chilu acknowledged the family’s grievance and promised that appropriate action will be taken on the matter.
The family wonders how rats were able to eat human flesh that was covered by white linen, which was, however, found intact.
They suspect they could be more to the matter.
World’s tallest model struggles to date
A tall Russian model who stands at 6 foot 9 inches has opened up about her dating struggles.
Ekaterina Lisina, who holds the title for being the “tallest model in the world” and once held the Guinness World Record for having the “world’s longest legs”, towers over most men and this makes it hard to find a suitable date.
The Russian basketballer-turned-model opened up to former adult film star Alexis Texas on her Private Talks podcast.
Ekaterina’s father is 6ft 6 inches, while her mother is 6ft 2 inches, and the model said she was anxious when she discovered that she might also be very tall like her parents.
She explained: “You know those problems, when you like a boy but he is much shorter, or you like a tall boy but he doesn’t want to be with you because you are too tall for him.”
Her fears materialised and she ended up being taller than her parents.
The model revealed it is hard finding a man who is just as tall.
She said her dating limit is a man who is 5ft 7in, and she would not like to date a man shorter than that.
Asked by Alexis whether she would ever be with anyone shorter than 5ft 7in, Ekaterina responded: “No, I think it’s already really low for me.
“The difference is over one foot; a lot of girls can’t even handle a couple of centimetres’ difference and this is one foot.”
Hair stopped growing at 5
The story of mysterious tragedies that befell a 28-year-old lady and her family has been shared on the internet.
Kampire Josepha currently has no hair and she is unable to grow any ever since it was shaved by her late father when she was five-years-old.
In an interview, Jose disclosed that for many years, her family concluded that her baldness was a result of witchcraft.
According to the young lady’s grandmother simply known as Patricia, her bald-headed granddaughter was born normally with hair until it was shaved and never grew back again.
Things took an unfortunate turn after that day and her family knew that something was amiss when the father died immediately after the shaving session.
After the mourning period, they noticed that the little girl’s hair was all gone and her eyebrows were disappearing too.
Jose and her mother sought the services of a village doctor, who gave them herbs to apply with the promise that the hair would grow back, but it never did.
“We got tired and stopped because it was wasting all the little money we had,” Patricia added.
Not long after, Jose’s mother died too, throwing the family into panic and confusion as they could not fathom what had befallen them.
This was made worse by the fact that the young girl’s legs developed a condition that crippled her after a while.
“She started crawling on the ground like a frog; that is when we rushed her to the hospital,” the grandma recalled.
For the next four months, the grandmother and the young granddaughter she had taken custody of spent time in hospital as she the latter received treatment. It was a timely intervention as her limbs were stabilised and she managed to start walking on two again, albeit with a limp.
When she became of age, Jose was able to find love and get married, but the union did not last forever as she had hoped.
She says that her husband was always teased by friends for marrying a woman who was physically impaired and bald.
After six months of marriage, Jose’s hubby caved in and dumped her, fearing that their children would be born with her condition.
With nowhere to go, Jose left her marital home and moved in with her grandparents where she still lives to date.
Father kills his seven-day-old daughter
A Pakistani father has been detained on suspicion of murdering his seven-day-old baby girl in order to have a male as his firstborn.
Jannat, whose name means ‘heaven’ in Urdu, was shot five times at her house in Mianwali, police said.
According to the Dawn newspaper, the culprit, identified as Shahzaib Khan, allegedly entered his residence and demanded his wife to hand over Jannat before shooting the week-old baby dead.
Shahzaib, who has been married for two years, then fled the scene before being apprehended in a nearby neighbourhood, according to police.
According to Mail Online, tribal customs in some parts of Pakistan make it possible for baby females to be regarded an insult to manhood.
The story aroused outrage in Pakistan, with the public criticising the newborn baby’s ‘brutal’ murder.
“This is savage, brutal and heinous.
‘‘The only way to halt this heinousness is for him to be publicly hanged,” Tehseen Qasim posted on Twitter.
“I am completely disgusted. I am heartbroken for the mother. Take a look at her lovely daughter.”
