Corruption at GMB

chairperson, Cde Dickson Mafios, told President Mugabe during the launch of the First Choice Wholesale concept in Mt Darwin last week that there was rampant corruption at GMB depots.
“There is corruption and we want the minister to investigate this,” said Cde Mafios.
He was addressing hundreds of people who converged at Mt Darwin Secondary School to witness the launch of the First Choice Wholesale scheme. Cde Mafios said there was need for constant monitoring of GMB operations in the province as grain and inputs meant for the poor were being diverted and benefiting a few senior officials. Mashonaland Central provincial Governor Advocate Martin Dinha raised similar complaints last month during a tour of the province by Vice President Joice Mujuru.
