PHILANTHROPIST and businessman, Cosmas Daka, celebrated his 42nd birthday in at Jairosi Jiri School for the Blind in Kadoma.
The man, better known as Cosy Rules, chose to feast with the school for the 16th year running.
“It all started when I thought of the era of wealthy people throwing lavish parties in luxurious spots to strictly invited guests.
“For me, the idea sprung to mind to think of one, who is not privileged, to attend those lavish parties and are excluded for their lack of money.
“It struck my mind that I can do it for the underprivileged.
“I thought of this institution and that journey is sixteen years old now,” Daka said .
Cossy Rules wants to leave a legacy for his children.
“I came to celebrate here with my whole family.
“The idea is to inculcate the spirit of love, and help for others, among my children.
“I want it to dawn upon them at a very young age.
“I wish for them to proudly carry on the baton with this institution once we have left the world.”
Guest of Honour, renowned businessman and academic, Dr. Langton Mabhanga, thanked the philanthropist for the kind gesture he expressed to Jairosi Jiri School ,
“It is not money that matters most in life.
“The gift to help others is more important and God rewards one by entrusting them with more because they can help mankind in different situations.
“The Almighty blesses our business and industry more for us to also extend that to those in need.
“It is a way for God to reach his people,” said Mabhanga.
