“Everything for the after-party is done and dusted. We are going to be Cottco’s second eye-catching act as we have a lot of entertaining programmes. We have the best sound in the country that is going to be readily available throughout the rugby competition before we take the nail-biting act to Lavida on Saturday night which is our biggest event,” said Mhike.
Top class music from afro-jazz, RnB, hip-hop to kwaito music will be played by well-known club DJs such as Carter, C-Skillz, Klique, Jarry and Black Snizzle and some other supporting hip-hop artistes currently rocking the airwaves. Mhike said they were excited to host such a big party for Cottco this year as it will give them the opportunity to prove that they are one of the best in sound quality.
“I have been attending Cottco for years since the day I was introduced to the event when I was in primary school. Now that we are lucky to be part and parcel of the exciting show, we are going to give everything we know best to prove our supremacy in the world of PA systems,” he said. Artistes who are also billed to perform on Saturday include MC Cut, Tatea Da MC, Mariachi. Apparently, Tatea Da MC has been doing well with his chart topper “H-Town” which won him two accolades at last year’s Hip-Hop Awards.
