Council neglects sport facilities…Infrastructural decay reverses AUSC Region 5 games’ expensive facelifts

White City Stadium and the Barbourfields Stadium outside grounds are in a state of neglect as owners, Bulawayo City Council, appear to have concentrated all its efforts on maintaining the Barbourfields main playing field since the national lockdown forced the suspension of all sporting disciplines.

The Barbourfields outside grounds are now an eyesore and look bushy with overgrown grass and weeds.

Barbourfields’ Arena A and B are also overgrown with weeds and grass
