A MUTARE woman has approached the courts praying for protection against her husband whom she alleges of forcing her to have sexual intercourse.

Portia Mahuchamana appeared before the courts seeking protection against Garikai Sigauke whom she accused of being abusive.

Mahuchamana said she is being forced to have sexual intercourse against her will but is chased away when she refuses. Apart from that, she alleged assault in front of her children. Sigauke rubbished the claims.

He said he never harassed the complainant saying Mahuchamana was the one harassing him.

“Your Worship this woman wants to kill me. She once ran over my hand and refused to take me to the hospital. She also stabbed me with a knife in between my thighs,” said Sigauke as he lowered his pants to show the scars.

He also showed the court stitches at the back of his head and forehead resulting from injuries sustained at the hands of his wife. Protection order was granted to both parties.
