THEY have an ailing 16-months-old child, who requires US$15 000 for urgent medical treatment in India, something which is beyond the means of this couple who are only communal farmers.

But, Handsome Mugoni (42) and his wife Joyline Kusemamuriwo (38), who are from Gonyora Village in Shamva District, are not throwing in the towel.

Their child Trust was diagnosed with a cardiovascular condition that requires emergency surgery.

“Doctors advised that our son should be flown to India for treatment, as a matter of urgency. We were told that we risk losing him if treatment is delayed and we are, therefore, appealing for assistance from well-wishers.

“About US$15 000 is needed to cover the medical costs and other necessary expenses,” said Handsome.

“Those who want to help can get in touch with the family on 0788551300.

Money can be deposited into the Ecocash account, which is registered under Joyline.

“Altenatively, deposits can be made into to Joyline’s forex bank account.
