Court orders neighbours to stop visiting

order. Munyaradzi Mugonabanji was brought to Harare Civil Courts by his neighbour, Nicodemus Hwangwa, who was seeking a protection order against him.

Munyaradzi was brought together with his mother Monica and brothers Kudzai and Tawanda.
“We are neighbours and Munyaradzi has a tendency of slapping my wife’s buttocks whenever he finds her fetching water from the tap.

“They are also coming together as a family and damaging my property.
“At one time, Munyaradzi came to my place when I had visitors and slapped me before I retaliated with a fist.

“His mother joined in the fight and my wife had to join in and attacked her with a log.
“After we overpowered them, Munyaradzi rushed to the house next to mine where he took a hoe and ravaged my temporary housing structure. I do not want all of them at my place,” Hwangwa said.

In defence, Monica said the feud started after Hwangwa’s three dogs died at the same time.
“He is a plumber and he once took my children and worked with them for the whole day and they were not paid even a cent.

“Afterwards his three dogs died and he started accusing us of killing them. We do not go to his place.”
Magistrate Ms Vongai Muchuchuti ordered the quartet not to visit Hwangwa’s house.
