Court tames abusive hubby

heard yesterday.
Ruvimba Mhondoro who had approached the court for a protection order told the court that her husband Collin Jongwe was a serial abuser.

Mhondoro stunned the court when she pulled off a wig which she was using to cover her scares.
“My husband always assaults me. I have scars and bruises all over my body.

“Recently, he pulled out my hair by pulling off the extensions leaving me with these scars,” she said.
Jongwe, did not deny the allegations but argued that Mhondoro was a disobedient wife.

“I have no problem with the protection order but my wife is disobedient.

“She is the one who starts assaulting me and I end up fighting her though it would not be my intention,” he said.
Magistrate Ms Renika Dzikiti heard the matter and granted Mhondoro the protection order.
