A Bulawayo woman who had travelled to South Africa for medical reasons has been placed under self quarantine together with her family following revelations that her South African based doctor tested positive for Coronavirus.

Health and Child Care Minister Dr Obadiah Moyo said this today during a press conference to update the nation on the Coronavirus pandemic.

This comes amid revelations that a tourist who left the country on March 10 via South Africa also tested positive upon his return to his home country in the United Kingdom.

Government has since started contact tracing of all those who interfaced with the tourist in Victoria Falls.
