Covid-19 vaccine arrives

THE first batch of Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine from China arrived at the RG Mugabe International Airport in Harare Monday morning.

Permanent Secretary for Information, Nick Mangwana, tweeted: “Zimbabwe is getting ready to vaccinate its health workers as its first batch of Sinopharm vaccination gets offloaded from Air Zimbabwe.”

Front-line health workers, ports of entry officials and funeral parlour workers will be among the first to be vaccinated for Covid-19.
