Defending champions Craven scored a total of 41 points in his nine games last year as he made a fifth successful attempt on the title.
On his way to glory he lost only twice and his form will be under the spotlight this time.
Craven will be expecting a tough challenge from competitors such as Roy Garden, Terry Bowes and Derek Robinson.
The Bulawayo Athletics Club greens will also showcase the talents of Denis Streak, who had been not been taking part in a number bowls competition.
Bulawayo-based Streak, who is also a former Zimbabwean first class cricketer and father of iconic local Test player Heath, has been confirmed as one of the participants.
Streak has been one of the country’s top bowlers and has made a good name for himself in the sport.
In the women’s singles category Allyson Dale, who made her first appearance at last year’s competition, will be defending her title.
Dale had a fairy-tale debut at Highlands Sports Club in 2012, finishing on 45 points in the nine games she played.
Kerry Craven, who took the third place last year, is returning this year while silver medallist Trish Davies will miss this year’s tournament.
Davies won gold in 2011 and a silver last year but will not be taking part at this years’ Masters.
Bowls Zimbabwe President, Malcolm Evans, said they have sent the invites to the players.
“We have selected the Masters squad although we are still waiting for the other names of the players who will be picked from the singles competition tomorrow,”said Evans.
