Crooger releases hit single

“The single is a follow up to singles I released a few months ago. I have a received tremendous support and recognition I am now getting from people in the industry,” he said.
Crooger, who is already enjoying considerable air play on most of the local radio stations, has his heights set on the international arena.

“I am happy that I am successfully establishing myself as a serious hip-hop and afro-fusion artiste. My music is now playing on the radio not only in Zimbabwe but in Namibia on Unam radio and Malawi’s Capital FM. Going regional is just a stepping stone for now because I see myself breaking into the international scene,” he said.  The Bluffhill-based teen, who is set to commence his studies at a university in South Africa next year, revealed that he is not hanging up his “mic” any time soon.

He will be studying for a bachelor’s degree in accounting Down South.
“School is obviously important and thanks to my mother, I am able to juggle it with my music career. She sponsors my music and has so far spent almost US$1 000 for the ‘I Want Her’ video,” he said.

The youngster also took the opportunity to advise other teens who want to make it in show business. “The young cats need to work hard for one to sail through in the cut-throat industry. Of course, one needs to stay true to oneself so that the desired goals are achieved,” he said. – CL Reporter.
