RISING Afro pop artist, Denzel Soka, is in high spirits ahead of his debut South African tour.
The 19-year-old is billed to perform at the Innocent Pub & Restaurant in Kempton Park.
He will share the stage with Killer T at the event.
In an interview with H-Metro, the crooner said he was excited and nervous at the same time.
The event also features deejays Winnie, Warrior, 2 Gig and MC T Boss.
“I am really excited about this opportunity, many thanks to the promoters Mbare Boys Entertainment.
“It’s my first time in South Africa and also my first to share the stage with Killer T.
“It’s such a big opportunity for me and I am really glad but it also makes me a little nervous.
“Above all, I would like to thank God for the talent and the doors he is beginning to open for me in my music journey.
“It’s a great opportunity and God’s favour to be accorded such an opportunity,” said Soka.
Soka, who is also a guitarist, has a singles collection to his name.
It carries tracks like Shumba, Ndaishuvira, Chihera, Chimhandara and Woti, featuring Ishan.
