Cuban Vice President inaugurates Fidel Castro Road in Harare

CUBAN Vice President Salvador Valdes Mesa on Friday officially commissioned the Fidel Castro Road (formerly Charter Road) in Harare.

The road was officially renamed in 2020 in honour of Cuba’s founding President Fidel Castro.

Last night, Vice President Kembo Mohadi held a dinner in honour of the visiting VP Valdes Mesa.

The Cuban VP is in the country for a three-day official visit.

During his visit to Zimbabwe, VP Mesa is expected to hold crucial meetings with President Mnangagwa as well as tour some historical sites in the country.
