Cyclone Ree is back . . .

BETTER known as one the most controversial models to emerge from the country, former model and Miss Tourism Personality, Lungile Mathe affectionately known as Cyclone Ree, is in the country on a private engagement, which has also seen her donating to an old people’s home recently.

Cyclone Ree said she was now a mature woman ready to conquer the world.

“I have been doing a lot of charity work but I did not want anyone to know about it because biblically what the left hand gives, the right one should not know. I recently donated what I felt was needed at Entembeni and I wish many people would visit the home and see how much they are in need of a lot of basics. At least there are some people who assist even with cleaning but that home really needs donations,” said Cyclone Ree.

She said she was on the verge of establishing a project that would see her actively engage the underprivileged people of society.

“I want to focus on this project and establish it into a reputable company that can forge relations with local and international organisations. I established this project while I was in China. I would send money to my father to donate to less privileged people. I do not want to be one of those people who when they get comfortable in life they forget about those who are still struggling, so I want to help my fellow citizens in any way I can,” said Cyclone Ree.

She noted that she was no longer into modelling where her stint in the industry came to a halt in 2012.

“I have a lot of things lined up, as a true African woman I will be multi-tasking. So far no one is helping me with my charity project, therefore, I am not helping much for that reason, I am working on pulling a lot of donors that can assist. I am also working on my programme about culture and heritage; I want to be a cultural activist. Above all I am still passionate about my music career. I love being a DJ and I’m still bettering myself at it,” she said.
