THE Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries (CZI) would host its inaugural Annual Manufacturing Sector Conference and Dialogue in Harare on Friday, which will coincide with the launch of the 2023 Annual Manufacturing Survey report.
The high-level event comes at a time when there mixed sentiments regarding trends and the future of manufacturing in Zimbabwe, which also represents opportunities for growth and entrepreneurship.
CZI, however, is optimistic the sector is poised for a massive take off guided by ongoing policy reforms aimed at unlocking more business potential.
“We are launching the 2023 CZI Annual Manufacturing Sector Survey report with the inaugural annual manufacturing sector conference and dialogue: ‘The Zimbabwe Manufacturing Opportunities and Challenges Mix’,” said the largest industry lobby group in a latest update.
“Come and participate in this conversation of the moment as we unpack the various scenarios facing the Zimbabwe manufacturing sector and how best it can be positioned to contribute bigger to economic outcomes for the country and returns for investors in manufacturing.”
