DALOM music supremo Dan Tshanda, who arrived in Bulawayo yesterday with his crew, has promised fans a show to remember tonight when he performs at the Large City Hall during the make-up Splash Re-energised.

Making a drive from Botswana to the Plumtree border to beat congestion at the Beitbridge border post, the artiste was accompanied by stable mates Dalom Kids, Matshikos, Peacock and Mpho Majika who will perform with him.

On the local front will be Madlela Skhobokhobo, DJs Mzoe, Wyqlif and Prince Eskhosini.

Splash Re-energised comes a month after a botched show at Hartsfield Rugby grounds because of heavy rains that pounded Bulawayo that night.

One of the organisers of the show, Vusumuzi Siqalaba, said all was in place and assured patrons that the show would go on well as planned today with no rain fears.

“Dan Tshanda was disappointed last time as he couldn’t perform after having travelled to Bulawayo. However, with this show, he is raring to go as he’s already in the country.

“On our side, everything is in place and people are happy the show will go on whether it rains or not as they’ll be in a closed venue,” said Siqalaba.

He said early-bird tickets will go on sale as early as midday.

“The Early Bird tickets will be $7 or R70 for ordinary entrance. At the gate, it’ll be $12 or R120 and VIP will be $25 or R250. The early bird tickets will be sold as from midday for the convenience of fans.”

For the better part of today, Tshanda and crew will hold road shows in the city to promote the event. Lucky fans will get tickets to the event.
