Dancehall music fans are set to have an exciting experience when Zimdancehall artistes converge at the Harare Civic Centre Grounds for a show on August 30.
The show will be one of the many entertaining activities lined up for the last day of the Harare Agricultural Show.
The spacious Civic Centre Grounds located outside Harare Showgounds near Luna Park is likely to be a hive of activity when youthful music fans converge to support their dancehall icons.

A number of musicians are set to take to the stage in the all-night function that is designed  to celebrate dancehall music in a big way.
Most of the popular dancehall musicians will perform at the show.

Some of the names to feature on stage are Soul Jah Love, Kinnah, Tocky Vibes, Lady Squanda, Killer T, Guspy Warrior, King Shaddy, Ricky Fire, Jay Cee, Lipsy, Crystal, Qonfused  as well as entertainment crews Chill Spot and Judgement Yard, Silverstone and Mighty Duks.

There will also be a clash contest for “clarks” dancers.
Organisers of the show Divine Assignments said they put up the show to entertain young music lovers that usually throng the environs of the Harare Agricultural Show on the last day of the agric showcase.

“The last day of the agricultural show is usually a hive of activity.
“Young people take the opportunity to enjoy themselves on this day and venues around the Exhibition Park usually host big shows,” said a Divine Assignments spokesperson.

“We chose Harare Civic Centre Grounds because of the venue’s proximity to the showgrounds and we are certain that this outdoor event would be a memorable event.
“We have engaged various security organisations to make sure the situation does not get out of control because we are anticipating huge numbers at the show.”

The closing day of the Harare Agricultural Show has always been eventful and the dancehall show is likely to be among the best shut-down shows of the show.
Most of the musicians taking part during the show have huge followings and the gig is expected to attract a mammoth crowd.
