Zim-dancehall sensation, Innocent Chiripamberi (27), affectionately known as Chiblah in collaboration with Roy Mafundirwa (27), known as ‘Joker Diamond’ have released nine reggae singles.

The nine tracks recorded at Shattah Records in Zimunya are Zimbabwe, Handibate Hakata, Mukandiona Ndichitengesa Bhutsu, KwaMutare Tiri Machampion, Mabasa Emaoka, Tinosunga Mabhaudhi, Mugweje Weblue, Chibla Pamangoma Ndiri Suicide Bomb and Dancehall Drivers.

Chiripamberi said in the song Hatibate Hakata, they were urging youths to work hard to earn a decent living and desist from using juju.

“Our music is evidence that we were born to do music. It has not been entirely easy because of the financial problems affecting almost everyone, but finally our dreams have come true. We also had no producer until we met Taurai Mvududu who helped us to release these tracks,” said Chiripamberi.

“We have started working on more tracks and videos that will be released before the end of year.

“We will continue to bring forward our main mission which is preaching to the youths and entertaining the nation through music,” he added.

In a separate interview, Mafundirwa assured their fans that a DVD for all the songs will be released before the end of this year.

“We shall continue to give our fans something to entertain them and we will like to assure them that the DVD album will be out before the end of this year,” said Mafundirwa.

The duo also performs live during functions around the city with a group of young dancers.
