ORGANISERS of International Pairs Zimbabwe have announced the commencement dates for the 2026 qualifying campaign of one of the world’s most anticipated amateur golf events.
The qualifiers for the 2026 edition are scheduled to run from May 25 to August 10 at various clubs across the country.
The national final will then be held at Harare Country Club on August 22 before the winners go on to represent Zimbabwe at the World Final in Tenerife, Spain.
“We are back again for what promises to be yet another enthralling edition of the International Pairs. Our qualifiers this year are scheduled to start on Africa Day and we are expecting bigger numbers. We are calling on everyone to come out in large numbers,” said tournament convener Shameon Mazvarira.

The 2026 edition of the tournament will be officially launched on Friday in Harare.
Following feedback and lessons learnt from previous editions, organisers said several adjustments have been made to the rules governing the national final to ensure a fair and level playing field for all participants.
“Full details and the updated rules will be presented at the official launch and circulated to all participating clubs.”
