Born on November 21, 1992, the BET Award winner is set to celebrate his 22nd birthday in a lavish manner at the luxurious Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Hotel with members of his HKN Gang.
Sources revealed to NET that the singer would also be releasing his long-awaited single titled ‘‘Owo ni koko’’ off his sophomore album scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2015.
The new song, not expected to be quite like other songs by the Osun State-born star in the past, is said to be of a brand new genre of music which Davido calls ‘‘Afro House’’.
The new song, ‘‘Owo ni koko’’ which can be translated into ‘‘money is the essence’’ in English, will be released on a newly floated label known as Twenty 20 Entertainment.
Davido’s last released song is the smash hit tune ‘‘Aye’’ which was released in February 2014 with a widely loved video to boot directed by Clarence Peters. — TMZ.
