Double 2014 MTV Africa Music Award winner Davido isn’t just taking home awards, the self professed Omo Baba Olowo (which means the son of a rich man) is also happily dancing to the bank!
His older brother and manager Adewale Adeleke wrote on twitter: “Put my First 50k dolls into my business now my artiste makes 50k a show! God is good!”
His main artiste is Davido, who promptly retweeted the tweet: “That’s roughly N8 Million! God is indeed good!”
The 21-year-old Davido performs at least three shows per week in Nigeria, if his brother’s tweet is to believed, the artiste is easily taking home at least $150,000 (N24 Million) per week from shows. this does not include endorsement deals and revenue from album sales.
At this rate Davido is definitely one of the top five earning entertainers in Nigeria and according to his brother they intend to hold more shows in and out of Nigeria. – Nigeriafilms.
