A LOT of celebrities love Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe loves them back.
The latest celebrity to express that is rising American country and rap star, Dax (real name Daniel Nwosu Jr) who, yesterday (Thursday) posted a video on social media showing his face on the back of a Zimbabwean kombi with his face plastered on its back, his song, “Lonely dirt road” serving as background music.
He captioned it, “Apparently, I’m popular in Africa, this is Zimbabwe” and was visibly enjoying the scenery.
The video which has enjoyed over 16 000 views on X (formerly Twitter) with some X users suggesting that he should consider a tour to Zimbabwe soon.

It is common practice for commuter omnibuses to have stickers with different inscriptions especially those of different footballing teams.
The, “Dear Alcohol” hit-maker was born in St. John’s, but before he was a year old his parents, who are originally from Nigeria, moved the family to Ottawa, where he grew up.
He addresses societal issues on his music and joins a list of other celebrities to appreciate the Zimbabwean love.
These include but not limited to former footballer, Sol Campbell, Steve Harvey and his wife Marjorie, Siya Kolisi as well as Jose Mourinho and that has spoken volumes on Zimbabwe’s tourism space. – Follow on X @MbuleloMpofu
