Nigerian Afro-pop star Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo, popularly known as D’banj arrived in Harare yesterday ahead of the Lion Larger Summer Beer Festival today. The MTV Europe music award winner, who is expected to perform alongside Ugandan reggae artiste Bebe Cool, arrived at the  Harare International Airport at 11am yesterday.

He was welcomed by a handful of fans who took turns to have pictures taken with him.
“This is my first time in Zimbabwe and I am happy to be here.

“Get ready to be entertained in the highest form because I am going to deliver the best of D’banj,” he said.
Fans got a bit of action from D’banj as the star posed while throwing lines from his hit songs.

“I have a confession to make, Zimbabwe has got lots of beautiful girls,” he said drawing from his popular song Oliver                                       Twist.
He promised a lively performance at the Glamis Arena before being whisked away in a mini-van for a press conference at Delta Beverages.
His band members arrived in Harare on Thursday together with Bebe Cool.
