DEAR female students, remember that your abilities are your strongest allies as you step into the professional world.
Let your abilities and talents be the greatest assets. I often compare college life to riding a roller coaster, there are joyful, enjoyable times as well as depressing and stressful ones.
The roller coaster collapsing is not something to expect, yet anything can happen. But refuse to be swayed by empty promises or manipulative tactics.
Stand firm in your values, trust your skills and let your work speak for itself.
Wouldn’t it be extremely difficult to do what you don’t want to do, but just because you are not able, makes you fall prey.
Yours truly, doesn’t travel to Mars to bring you what he writes here, but everything is based on true stories.
As you embark on your academic journeys, it’s crucial to remember that your abilities and talents are your greatest assets.
Unfortunately, some female students face the harsh reality of being taken advantage of in workplaces, often pressured by predators into compromising situations under the guise of job promises.
May you reclaim your power and let your skills shine. This week, I am once again trolling in the field of female students.
Like always, I write what I see, but mostly it’s a combination of what I also hear.
As usual, college is an odd and amazing time when you will create memories that you will either cherish or perhaps regret forever.
College students have developed into a unique breed of individuals because they are immersed in such an intense experience.
Though they are undoubtedly different, college students normally find it difficult to understand the reasons behind some of their actions.
Numerous incidents of students being caught off guard have occurred; some have made news, some have died, others have committed suicide, and some have gotten pregnant.
Even grave crimes have been committed by some. Above all, every dangerous activity has very negative aspects and actual repercussions.
Of course, students should do what’s right for them, but sadly, most of them are breaking the cardinal rule of ambitions.
From my recent observations, it came to my attention that some female students are falling victim after being fooled into being given jobs in exchange for their sexual favours.
Many say it is hard to be female, but I beg to disagree, it’s also hard to be a male, as everything comes with its difficulties.
Of most importance, your academic achievements and skills are the foundation of your worth in any workplace.
When faced with undue pressure, remind yourself, your value doesn’t decrease based on someone’s inability to see your worth.
Embrace this mantra and recognise that you possess the expertise and talent to succeed on your own merits.
Too often, female students feel compelled to conform to unhealthy workplace dynamics for fear of losing opportunities.
Take it from me, it’s essential to stand firm in your convictions.
As Maya Angelou wisely said, “I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it.”
Don’t allow anyone to diminish your potential or manipulate you for their gain.
It is of paramount importance that all female students believe in the power of their abilities.
There is a need to focus on honing your skills and showcasing them with confidence. If the truth be told, success is not the key to happiness, but happiness is the key to success.
If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.
When you are passionate about your work and confident in your abilities, success will follow, and you won’t have to compromise your values for it.
It’s unfortunate that some of the female students and young women are succumbing to a lack of ambition.
Several reports have indicated that some female students on attachments or work-related learning are falling prey to predators who are always manipulative.
They are promised unfulfilled jobs that they will never see in their lives.
It’s heartbreaking to be used after being given an empty promise.
Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who uplift and empower you.
As you reflect on your experiences both on and off campus, remember the importance of believing in yourself rather than being hoodwinked into believing that some will give you a job in exchange for your body.
If we are to count how female students have been promised non-existent jobs, most of us will be heartbroken.
Sadly, most ambitious students have lost it once they admit to being fooled into accepting demands for a job, they are not sure they will get.
No one can deny that transitioning from high school to the university is a major life change and requires hard work and discipline.
Female students may be drawn to novels with defective or evil male characters because they seek depth, identity, and rebellion against gender norms.
You might be able to get their attention and engagement by providing more complex and varied characters.
Remember that each person is different, so something that would be a deal-breaker for one female might not be for another.
You will encounter a plethora of new experiences at college.
And do everything you can to fulfil this, but never take a step that you will later regret. Sadly, it appears that the girls are no longer devoted to virtue.
Face your journey with courage and confidence, and let your abilities pave the way to success. The world is waiting for you to shine.
Until we meet for a toast.
