DELTA Beverages through its Castle Lager brand, this morning donated 10 state-of-the-art hospital beds to Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital, in a move aimed at strengthening healthcare services at the institution.
In an interview, Delta Beverages regional sales manager, Mr Julius Chirara, said the donation forms part of Castle Lager’s 10th Anniversary National Castle Lager Braai Day celebrations, under which the company pledged to donate 100 modern hospital beds across Zimbabwe’s 10 provinces.

“We pledged to donate 100 state-of-the-art hospital beds which will be distributed across the country’s 10 provinces. Delta Beverages remains committed to supporting national development and investing in the well-being of communities that form the foundation of our success,” said Mr Chirara.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, the hospital’s Medical Superintendent, Dr Hillary Makiwa, welcomed the donation, saying the beds will improve patient care and support ongoing hospital modernisation efforts.
“This support will directly improve patient comfort and care in our halls. Your commitment to giving back to the community is truly appreciated. We appreciate Delta Beverages for partnering with us. This is the beginning of what we hope will be a long-lasting relationship,” he said.
