Delta shares net US$3,5m

fell a further 0,61 percent to close at 84,68 points.
Back-to-back foreign participation in selected stocks boosted daily turnover 78 percent to US$4,7 million from Monday’s US$2, 6 million.

Foreign investors accounted for 86 percent and 85 percent of the buy-side and sell-side respectively.
Volumes traded had improved 37 percent to 14,5 million shares with Delta accounting for the bulk of the trades for the second session, after a cross of five million shares at a stable price of US70c.
Cigarette manufacturer BAT gained US5c to US225c as clothing retailer Edgars advanced US0,40c to US7,40c and OK was US0,25c firmer.

OK has remained stable despite the group losing part of its stock. Analysts say the company is bullish ahead of its OK Grand Challenge promotion that ends next month.

Innscor pushed US0,20c as 515 000 shares crossed to close at US54,20c and Ariston rose US0,10c to US1,30c.
Ariston is also likely to be bullish in the near future after South African firm Afrifresh gained a controlling 61 percent in the group from EmVest and underwriting its US$8 million rights issue.

Gains were stressed by losses in TA Holdings shedding US4 cents to settle at US11c.
Diversified financial group ABCH retreated US2c to US53c after being named the best private sector employer in 2011 by Industrial Psychology Consultants.

Tobacco Sales Limited lost US0,99c to US6c and transport company Pioneer was US0,50c weaker at US2c.
RioZim, shaking off US0,99c to US49,99c, dragged down the resources index. Bindura, Falgold and Hwange were unchanged at previous trading levels.
