FIVE Chevrons fans will travel to India to support the team in their remaining T20 World Cup games.

They are part of the Castle Corner fans who were in Sri Lanka for the group stages but were unable to proceed to India for the remaining Super Eight matches.

Delta Beverages, through their Castle Lager brand, announced a special initiative to celebrate and support the Chevrons cricket team as they continue their journey in India.

The brand said it will sponsor the trip for the five fans, who were in Sri Lanka, to continue cheering the team in India.

“The five super fans will depart from Harare on Tuesday (today) and will travel to Chennai, India, where they will have the unique opportunity to continue supporting the Chevrons as they compete on the international stage.

“This all-expenses-paid sponsored trip underscores Castle Lager’s dedication to fostering local pride, unity, and shared moments of celebration.”

Irimayi Muzorewa, Delta Beverages Marketing Director, said:

“Castle Lager has always believed in the power of sport to bring people together whilst creating memorable moments with our consumers.

“Supporting the Zimbabwe Chevrons in their quest for success on the international stage is a proud moment for us. We believe that every match is a celebration of talent, resilience, and national pride, and we are excited to be part of this journey.”
