TRIANGLE defender, Robert Kwaramba, says Dynamos are the FAVOURITES to win the league championship this season.
He feels his Lowveld side will go into their league match against the Glamour Boys as rank outsiders.
The two clubs clash at the National Sports Stadium this Sunday.
The Chiredzi side are ninth on the log standings and they are visiting the capital on the back of a three-match unbeaten streak.
Two of last season’s top three teams have already failed to beat the Sugar Boys.
They settled for a 1-1 draw against champions FC Platinum and got the same result versus Chicken Inn.
Triangle have only lost once in seven fixtures and Kwaramba, who has been at the heart of the team’s defence, says a positive result is possible.
“We are playing the title favourites and everyone saw what they could do last weekend when they beat CAPS United.
“But, we are a different side with different weaknesses and capabilities.
“We are going to use our underdog tag to give our best to get a positive result because many are expecting Dynamos to win and it’s to our advantage because we are going to play without any pressure,” said Kwaramba.
He highlighted the importance of returning home with a positive result.
“The season is still open for everyone but for us it’s all about avoiding relegation.
“Last season, we finished in a respectable position, it will be a failure for us to get relegated and we have challenged ourselves to start racking up points in these opening fixtures.
“Dynamos are a big club with a huge following and that alone is a boost for us to make names for ourselves,” he said.
