Following the defeat, police had to disperse angry Dynamos supporters from Rufaro as they were hurling insults at the team’s executive and calling for the sacking of Pasuwa.
One supporter was even bitten by a police dog.
Mukamba was red-carded by referee Ruzive Ruzive for a second yellow card when he fouled Harare City’s Trymore Nyamadzawo during the Castle Lager Premiership tie at Rufaro on Wednesday.
The Warriors midfielder, who is set to leave for trials with South African side Black Leopards, is going to miss the match at Lafarge on Sunday because of the suspension.
Some fans felt that Mukamba deliberately earned himself the yellow cards in the second half so that he would miss the match against Gunners ahead of his trials at Sunday Chidzambwa’s side although the player said it was unfortunate.
Dynamos lost 1-0 after Quinton Masika scored in injury time after he got to the end of a cross by Silas Singano wide on the right.
Pasuwa will now head to Lafarge without his inspirational midfielder Mukamba but hopes to find an able replacement.
“We are going to play Gunners this weekend and after this defeat (against Harare City), I will try to motivate the boys. It’s unfortunate that we will not be using Denver.
“Having been the playmaker for the team, it means we have to adjust without him for the game. We should look for players who are capable of taking over the role,” said Pasuwa.
Pasuwa said he is worried about the spate of injuries in his camp as veteran striker Takesure Chinyama is not yet fully fit while Milton Makopa also missed Wednesday’s clash due to an injury.
A former Dynamos utility player Pasuwa is now hoping for a win over Chando Kupisa after Dembare came out with a victory on their last visit to Manressa.
Mukamba scored a brace while Roderick Mutuma weighed in a goal as the Harare giants won 3-1 last season.
Mitchell Katsvairo, now at FC Platinum, reduced the arrears for Gunners.
But Gunners interim coach Thanks Tengwe said he will not read much into the defeat from last season nor the absence of Mukamba from the tie.
Tengwe believes his side are going into the match as the underdogs while pressure will be on the defending league champions Dynamos. Gunners drew 2-2 against Buffaloes at Sakubva.
Meanwhile, members of the Bulawayo chapter of the Dynamos Supporters Association will tomorrow afternoon elect a substantive executive.
An interim executive led by city businessman Dumisani Mutorera, has been running the affairs of the chapter since late last year when the supporters passed a vote of no confidence in the previous executive they accused of overstaying.
“The elections will be conducted by our national supporters’ executive from Harare and we expect only those that are already registered members to attend,” said Mutorera.
The meeting will be held at Hustlers Leisure Centre.
Mutorera said all the interim members of the executive will be seeking re-election as they have some unfinished projects that they would like to see through. He said elections will be by nomination and everyone in attendance will be eligible for election.
His executive made history last year by bringing the Castle Lager Premiership trophy which their club clinched to Bulawayo as part of the victory celebrations and they also assisted in the burial of the Dynamos supporters who died in a road accident in Filabusi on their way to Mandava Stadium in Zvishavane where Dynamos was playing FC Platinum. Dembare won the match 1-0.
Mutorera said there will be a pre-election meeting tonight to prepare for tomorrow’s elective meeting.
