DYNAMOS will be missing the services of the injured Shadreck Nyahwa and Alex Oratomol when they face ZPC Kariba in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Nyamhunga tomorrow.

Coach Tonderai Ndiraya said it was the worst possible time to play ZPC Kariba, in their backyard, given the hot conditions in the resort town.

“It’s going to be very difficult for us, obviously, given the heat factor.

“It’s more about playing against the heat and the distance than anything else.

“That is what we have to try and manage for us to get a win.

“We have to make sure our players are always hydrated because of the temperatures there,” said Ndiraya.

He added:

“It’s not an easy venue for us and we want to try and get a result.

“In 2019 we almost got a result, but they equalised late and we drew.

“This time around we want to improve our statistics there as a team.

“The statistics haven’t been good and we were discussing that as a team that we should go and give a good fight.

“Shadreck Nyahwa has a knee injury and Alex Oratomol pulled a muscle.”

Dynamos captain, Partson Jaure, who was attending a ZIFA Level 1 course, said they were going to give their best, in pursuit of the championship.

“This is football, anything can happen.

“Each time we play games, we will be looking for a win but, sometimes, things go the other way.

“ZPC have been struggling recently, but that is not to say we will march over them as they are also fighting for every point to avoid relegation.

“FC Platinum might also be caught wanting, so we should be able to capitalise.

“You never know when they will slip up,” said Jaure. Dynamos are in second place on the log with 45 points, six adrift of FC Platinum.
