DEFENDING Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions Dynamos have set their gate charges at $3 in a move they believe will attract a bumper crowd for their final league match against Black Mambas at Rufaro on Sunday.
Webster Chikengezha, Dynamos’ secretary-general yesterday said they expect a full house.
Dynamos are second on the log tied on 51 points with third placed Bulawayo giants Highlanders and trail leaders Harare City by two points.

The Harare giants are on the verge of winning their third consecutive league title but there are many obstacles in their way.
Dynamos’ title hopes are no longer in their hands as they are banking on Caps United to do them a favour by denying Harare City victory at the National Sports Stadium. In that case DeMbare must also beat Black Mambas.

A draw by Harare City and a victory for Dynamos will hand DeMbare their third consecutive championship in the event that Highlanders do not beat Shabanie Mine by a five-goal margin.

Chikengezha said they were not reading much into the statistics as they were geared to go for the kill against Black Mambas.
“What we are doing as Dynamos is to concentrate on our game because that is the only result that we can influence. We need to win our game. At this stage we need our supporters to rally behind the team and create an intimidating atmosphere for the opponents on the field of play. For that reason, we have set the entrance fee for the rest of the ground at $3 so that every DeMbare follower makes it to Rufaro Stadium,” Chikengezha said.

The DeMbare boss paid tribute to their supporters at Barbourfields Stadium who rallied behind their team even when they were two goals down to Chicken Inn and believes that their vociferous fans can make life difficult for Black Mambas.

The Harare giants fought from two goals down to force a draw at Emagumeni last Sunday with Chicken Inn cracking in midfield and had it not been for some heroic saves by the Gamecocks goalkeeper Liberty Chirava, Dynamos would have taken all three points to Harare.
For their final encounter against a Black Mambas outfit that wants to survive the chop, Dynamos will be without Oscar Machapa who is serving suspension after getting a red card at Barbourfields Stadium last Sunday and Stephen Alimenda who has accumulated three yellow cards.

Machapa and Alimenda have been vital cogs for the Harare giants.
DeMbare welcome back leftback Ocean Mushure who has had a terrific season and missed last weekend’s away trip to Chicken Inn due to suspension.

Other players that are expected to drive Dynamos to victory include Tawanda Muparati, Cliff Sekete, goalkeeper George Chigova and Boban Zirintusa.

Dynamos will have to summon all that they have to beat Black Mambas who are aware that a defeat will condemn them to the unfashionable Division One Soccer League.

Black Mambas and Buffaloes are tied on 38 points and have the same goal difference meaning that a slip on Sunday and one of them will be axed.

The log leaders Harare City can also win the most coveted football silverware in the land if they draw and Dynamos and Highlanders fail to collect maximum points against Black Mambas and Shabanie Mine respectively.

In Bulawayo, Highlanders will also be hoping that the other two championship chasing teams drop points and they register a victory over Shabanie Mine and claim the title.
