Harare Derby is another demonstration of the lasting power of the two big football brands.
The official launch, of the countdown to the year when Dynamos will turn 50 in 2013, is scheduled for September 5.
Chiware and his team have already roped in Dynamos legend Memory Mucherahowa to be part of their ambassadors with the duty of spreading their gospel in the United Kingdom.
The Harare consultant said the Harare Derby brought out the true value of Dynamos as an attractive commercial brand.
“When you look at the big crowd that will come to the National Sports Stadium on Sunday and pay its way to watch the Harare derby, you will see the true commercial value of Dynamos,” said Chiware.
“These kinds of derbies make people realise that the team is there to stay and we need to revisit the objectives, both strategic and tactical.
“The Dynamos FC Golden Jubilee countdown rests on two fundamental things, which include strategic planning, continuos evaluation and perfect organisation of the jubilee promotion. The jubilee is aimed at transforming Dynamos FC into a powerhouse that can match any team in the field of play.
“We are also looking forward to promoting the name Dynamos throughout the country, region and within the continent.
“By doing this there will be great returns for the team, the local game and society in general,” Chiware said.
Meanwhile fans watching the Harare Derby, holding rest of the ground tickets on Sunday, will be able to buy beer from selected outlets around the National Sports Stadium. Until now, the sale of beer at the stadium had been limited to the VIP Enclosure. The Premiership is sponsored by Castle Lager and, during the 2010 World Cup, Fifa allowed Budweiser to sell beer to fans at matches.
