DeMbare mourns Ambassador Mandigora

HARARE giants Dynamos have joined the nation in mourning the death of former diplomat Thomas Mandigora.

The late liberation war veteran was a staunch Glamour Boys follower and brother to the late DeMbare legend David ‘Yogi’ Mandigora.

The former Ambassador to Botswana died at his home in Gletwyn, Harare, on Saturday afternoon from the effects of a stroke he suffered last month.

DeMbare chairman Bernard Marriot Lusengo yesterday said.

“Ambassador Thomas  Mandigora was taken from our midst this week  and the void the late Tommy left  will be difficult to  fill.

“Dynamos Football Club joins the Mandigora  family, the football fraternity and the generality of Zimbabweans whose lives were touched by the golden touch of the polished diplomat.

“We shall forever treasure his big heart, astuteness, gentle disposition  and  above all his selflessness. To the family of the  late super  diplomat, we say Tommy has been taken to the beautiful garden and all we need to do to celebrate his life is to keep his legacy  radiating its warmth  and love to all and sundry,” said Marriot in a statement.
