A fruitful meeting between the players, the executive and the technical team yesterday resulted in a deal being thrashed where the players were paid $100 each with the promise of a $20 000 to come.
Training is now expected to start this morning with a light work-out as the players shake off the off-season rust.
The club’s team manager Richard Chihoro, however, chose to be diplomatic on the stand-off that resulted in yesterday’s session being called off.
“It was just a normal meeting that is held at the beginning of the year and we were mapping our way.
“Everything is now set and we should be regrouping for training tomorrow (today),” said Chihoro.
Chihoro also said one of the resolutions that came out of yesterday’s meeting was that players will be gagged from speaking to the media without clearance from the technical department. “We are now saying that if
newspapers want to speak to a player, they should first get clearance from the coach.
“A player who wants to speak to the media should also get clearance from the coach.
“As a club we need to work on our discipline and have proper channels for communicating so that we do not create controversies and conflicts,” said Chihoro.
The Dynamos team manager is hopeful that their Zambian signings of Arthur Kaseloka and Derrick Kabwe will join the squad before the end of this week. “At the moment the Zambians are not here but for all I know, their paperwork is ready.
“They are coming maybe before the end of this week,” said Chihoro.
As Dynamos start their preparations today, veteran striker Cuthbert Malajila will be missing as he is undergoing trials at South Africa Premiership side Maritzburg United.
