Sikhumbuzo Moyo in Lupanda Village, Lupane
THE Deputy Minister of Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services, Dingumuzi Phuthi, is today officiating at Lupanda Secondary School’s careers day in Lupane.
The highlight of the day will be the handing over of Starlink kits to six primary schools by former Lupanda Secondary School students.
The six primary schools — Siphophoma, Tshayamathole, Mkhombo, Elihlo, Phumakanye and Masungamala — have been recording zero pass rates in the Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council Grade Seven exams over the past couple of years.
The former students believe the donation will help improve the pass rates for the beneficiaries.
Upon arriving at the school, Deputy Minister Phuthi toured various projects by the school, which include gardening and poultry.
He also visited various exhibitions.
