Devolution funds: Wheelerdale Clinic commissioned

The Minister of State for Mashonaland East Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Senator Apollonia Munzverengwi yesterday officially commissioned Wheelerdale Clinic in Seke District.


The clinic was built by Manyame Rural District Council using devolution funds.

Minister Munzverengwi said the clinic’s commissioning is another milestone of the Second Republic, which is working tirelessly to bring critical services closer to the people.

“Government is working around the clock to ensure that there is development everywhere. This is to ensure that no one and no place is left behind. This clinic will have a huge impact on the community.

Wheelerdale resident, Ms Margaret Kahuswa thanked Manyame RDC for channelling devolution funds towards the construction of the clinic.

She said this will go a long way in providing health services to the people of Wheelerdale and surrounding areas.
