DIABOLICAL: MEN OF CLOTH BLAST TWO MEGA SHOWS HELD IN H-TOWN, JOBURG

H-Metro Reporter

APOSTLE Joel, a local man of cloth, has suggested that attending shows like Doek & Slay, which drew a record 23,000 fans at its latest event in Harare on Sunday, was an ungodly act.

His comments resonate with those made by Prophet Shepherd Bushiri who also hit out at the huge attendance at Chris Brown’s two mega shows in Johannesburg at the weekend, which attracted more than 180,000 fans.

This means that the two big musical events in Harare and Johannesburg pulled in a combined fan base of more than 200,000 people.

Apostle Joel’s reaction to the latest Doek & Slay show was to quote some powerful verses from the Bible.

“For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do — living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.

“They are surprised that you do not join them in their reckless, wild living, and they heap abuse on you.

“But they will have to give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.”

And, what does this mean?

According to Bible.ca, Christians recognise there is a significant difference between how they live their lives and how sinners live their lives.

“Because we seek after God and restrain ourselves from sinful activities, the rest of the world views our conduct as odd and unnatural,” says Bible.ca.

“And, one of the sobering realities which grows out of this contrast is that unrepentant sinners will speak evil of Christians because of their manner of life.Peter reminds the Christian of these facts in 1 Peter 4:3-5.

“First, Peter tells saints that, before they obeyed Christ, they had spent enough time living a sinful life.

“This rebuke serves as a strong reminder to all Christians that there is a special way we are to live our lives, and it certainly is not in the pursuit of sinful passions in which we indulged ourselves before.

“Lusts refer to evil desires in context. Excess of wine is a clear picture of drunkenness.”

Prophet Bushiri made similar comments about Brown’s successful shows in Johannesburg at the weekend.

“So Chris Brown’s concert at FNB Stadium drew a crowd of 94,000 and the South African weirdo media is going crazy crowning him; ‘the biggest crowd puller’. What a shame,” Bushiri posted on his social media platforms.

“Hate is really an animal. They are trying to pay a blind eye on my meetings in the same stadium where we recorded an all-time high in numbers with 110,000 people attending my Crossover Night prayers for four consecutive times.

“Despite the FNB management posting it on the public display, no South African media wrote about it, till date.

“Indeed, if you hate someone, even their most beautiful face looks ugly. The South African media is trying to enthrone Chris Brown and de-throne the Gospel.

“They gladly, wrote about Chris Brown fans; ‘they were entertained’ and my followers who attended prayers; ‘they were brainwashed.’ Wow.

“Soon South Africans will wake up to the real agenda happening in their land — hating men of God and celebrating evil. Diabolical.”
