Diagnostic machine a new, welcome innovation in practice of medicine

For those who have a phobia for needles it was a big relief as they were able to check on their health without seeing any needles.

The expo saw more than 1 500 people from all walks of life coming to check if they had any diseases and also to see if it was true what they heard or read about the machine.

Mr Lucas Nkomo, a Bulawayo resident who went to the expo after hearing about the miracle machine, said the machine was an eye-opener to him.

“This machine changed me as it made me realise that whatever I do or eat sometimes affects my health because it is not everything that you eat or drink that contributes to a healthy diet.

“It has also become a breakthrough for me because I realised that my health today affects my future. Some people might think that they are healthy because they (look) fit but they might not know what their body holds for them in the near future,” he said.

He encouraged people to undergo regular tests so that they know if they have any diseases or conditions as it is cheaper to get tested than to cure them.

“People should get tested often because you never know what tomorrow holds for you, so it is better for you to know the problems that your body has before it gets out of control and lose a lot because prevention is better than cure and it is also cheaper to use prevention methods than curing a disease,” said Mr Nkomo

The analyser offers new advantages in the field of material analysis. It has been shown that the applicability of such an analyser exceeds the range of tissue analysis and other medical applications.

The method of quantum resonant magnetic analysis is an emerging rapid and non-invasive spectral testing method particularly suitable for comparison of curative effects medicine and health products, and check of sub-health conditions.

The Quantum Magnetic Resonance Analyser is also a medical imaging technique used to visualise detailed internal structure of the body. This will help improve the diagnosis of brain disorders based on the real-time events happening on atomic and molecular quantum levels. This is important since quantum-based magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) would enable clinicians to detect brain tumors at very early stages.

The main analysis items are more than 30, including cardiovascular and cerebrovascular conditions, bone mineral density, trace elements, blood lead, rheumatism, lung and respiratory tract, nephropathy, blood sugar, stomach and intestines, liver and gall, cranial nerves, gynaecology, prostate, bone disease, the trace elements of selenium, iron, zinc and calcium.

With only 10 or so cells of pathological change, the analyser can capture the pathological changes of cells and predict the precursor of disease. By taking health-care actions at this moment, you will be enabled to effectively prevent various chronic diseases.

Multiple indicators of one’s health can be obtained within seconds. This analysis method is designed to save time, money and energy. The analysis will tell a person the condition of their health without ultrasonic, nuclear magnetic resonance, radiography or any invasive testing.

This machine has proved to be less stressful compared to other tests that one does at the hospital as you may need to take quite a number of tests.

Some people usually get nervous when going for check-ups, as they are usually afraid of needles and seeing their blood being drawn out of heir bodies.

This machine is effective because it mainly guides a person on how to live especially the food you must eat. It is also a way of promoting healthy lifestyles as it is a guideline of healthy living.

Deputy Minister of Health and Child Welfare Dr Douglas Mombeshora said 80 percent of diseases are preventable if people change their eating habits and invest in their diet, exercise and lifestyle.

“Most of us only start taking care of our bodies when we get sick. I urge everyone to change attitudes and work towards improving their diet and lifestyles by eating healthy.

“People should adopt a preventive approach so that they can save the thousands of dollars used in curing their diseases because 80 percent of the diseases can be cured,” he said.

A medical doctor himself, Dr Mombeshora said he had never seen or ever used it.

“The machine is a good investment and shows that the church has the people’s health at heart although I had never seen or used it,” said Dr Mombeshora.

The Director of Personal Ministries of the Bulawayo East Adventist church Mrs Lynda Sibanda said the machine was just a guideline for healthy lifestyles.

“This machine is a screening test to see how healthy your body is. It is also a way to see if you are sick so that you may now early than to wait until you are ill,” she said.

She encouraged all health centres to use these machines so that people may know their health status in advance.

“I urge health practitioners to use this analyser so that they may be able to monitor their patients’ health as this gives them an awakening on how they should live. The outcome of people at the event shows that people still care about their health although they sometimes eat a lot of unhealthy things.

“I encourage people to test regularly because their life is in their hands. People should get a total health check-up at regular basis, or at least once a year because it will be better to know whether you are sick earlier as it will be easy to treat.

“People should be wary about their health because nowadays we are losing a lot of people because they do not check regularly about their health as there is an increase in chronic diseases which include cancer,” said Mrs Sibanda.

Many people rarely see their doctors due to lack of time, anxiety about their check-up results or the belief that “I’m in good shape, nothing is wrong with me.”

This is perfectly natural but you must keep in mind that most check-ups are very quick, easy, painless and demand only a few hours of your time every one or two years. And, most important of all, they can actually save your life.
