RHUMBA outfit, Diamond Musica, says it is ready to set the Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 stage ablaze on Saturday.
Running under the theme “Beautifully Confident,” the pageant is scheduled for the Harare Hippodrome.
Speaking to H-Metro, Diamond Musica leader, Pitshou Lumiere, promised fireworks at the Miss Universe Zimbabwe contest.
“We are ready to rumble, the night will be one of its kind and we promise our best show there,” he said.
“We call all our fans to show up in numbers. It will be a great night.
“People should come in numbers and have the opportunity to choose someone who can represent the country.”
The top 12 finalists have been selected.
The 12 are Amanda Mpofu, Life Matunzeni, Stacey Hall, Allyfina Mwanyali, Yamikani Nyenga, Audrey Ward, Prudence Moyo, Nokutenda Marumbwa, Brooke Bruk-Jackson, Angela Guta, Nicole Musiyarira and Noliwe Shand.
The girls are coming from various provinces in Zimbabwe, with one each from Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.
The winner of Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 will compete at Miss Universe 2023.
The 72nd edition of Miss Universe will be held in El Salvador on November 18, where Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor.
